What we are.
Lactone Labs is a research company that builds instruments: data and software that measure what is there, show their working, and claim nothing they cannot show. Today they serve the whisky trade and private clubs.
The same instrument, whatever your size.
Every producer, bottler and venue, however small, working with the same quality of instrument as the largest house.
How we work.
- Measure before claiming.
- Never fabricate a figure, a face or a word.
- Publish how well it works.
- Hold the data the job needs, and nothing else.
- No tracking. Ever.
- State facts plainly.
Where this came from.
Lactone Labs started behind the bar and in the trade, not in front of a screen — which is why the instruments are built for the people who pour, bottle and sell. A Scottish company, selling to the world.
